GDQ week, best week, hype! We have the gdq stream on the TV all day long, whether we're watching it or not, it's become a tradition. It's the background noise in the house for the week :-D
If we're doing gdq recommendations, my favorite is the "Amy" run by FoldableHuman at SGDQ 2018, it's just so good, so entertaining, 10/10!
GDQ is the week my YouTube Watch Later list typically triples in size. I don't usually watch it live (I can't focus on more than one thing at a time, despite best efforts) but I wring my hands with glee as I scroll through the schedule making a mental note of all the different runs I want to watch. For me, one of my favourite parts is revisiting old games I've not played in yonks and watching some talented runner absolutely carve through the game like a hot knife. One of the best weeks in the 'gaming' calendar.
