This is going to crack you up: Tomb Raider Reloaded recently launched and it’s even more of a clone of Archero than Mighty Doom. The Circle of Life continues.
Thanks for the tip on the death stranding track suit. I just bought the black one. I am a population of one inhabiting the Venn diagram that illustrates the overlap between people who love unspeakable track suits, and people who consider death stranding an all time great game.
9yo seems the right age to make a game about a fetus who flips his middle finger at the screen then milk it for the next 15 years and... wait, it's been done already, sorry
It's such a shame that mobile games went the way of aggressive monetisation. I'd play so many more if they just asked for a couple of quid for a short, fun experience, a chance for devs to test out smaller ideas or to deep dive into a single mechanic without as much financial risk as a bigger PC/console title. I would love to know Hit Points' recommendations!

Take all the time that you need to relax and recharge 🥲

Yes… it’s a lonely place. But a happy one.

I was enjoying Mighty Doom, but I didn't know Archero. Pretty sad thing, especially from Bethesda, not the unknown little dev.

If a "big" publisher has a game on smartphones, there's a good chance someone already made the exact same game without any IP attached to it.
Also, Vampire Survivors itself is a clone of a mobile game, Magic Survival.
